HELLINIKA Στην Ακρόπολη του Καϊρου υπάρχει, όπως παντού, ένα μνημείο. Σταθεροποιεί και υποστηρίζει τη διαρκή υποταγή σε ένα είδος ψύχωσης, τη θρησκεία. Στην κορυφή της ακρόπολης η εποπτεία της πόλης πληρώνεται από τη σκόνη, την υγρασία και την σφοδρή ζέστη στα μάτια και το σώμα του παρατηρητή.
Με ποιόν θα συνομιλήσουμε πριν να σχεδιαστεί η πρώτη γραμμή; Ποιά χειραψία θα μας οδηγήσει στις ποικιλίες της πόλης; Για ποιούς θα σχεδιάσουμε;
Η Ανατολή κατευθύνεται προς το όνειρο της Προσφοράς Υπηρεσιών. Για να συμβεί αυτό κάθε επιλογή θα πρέπει να υποστηρίζει την ιδέα ενός κατασκευαστικού νεοτερισμού, του δροσερού κλιματισμένου εσωτερικού, την προστασία από τις ποιότητες της πόλης που μόλις πριν συναντήσαμε... τη σκόνη, την υγρασία και τη σφοδρή ζέστη.

ENGLISH Up, at the Cairo acropolis there is, as usual, a monument. It stabilise and support the funtamental idea of the locality and identity. At the top of the hill the supervision of the city also include the reception of dust, humidity and the forcefull heat against the eyes and the body of the observer.
Who is the ideal participant to a dialogue before the first line will be designed? When we'll feel the handshake that'll lead us to the peculiarities of the city? Who are the citizens we are about to design for?
The Orient is heading towards the dream of Tourist Services. And that will be happen if the idea of a formalistic "life-style", "proper" structures, will prevail. The idea of the cool interior jail (hotel), and the idea of the protection from the vital city qualities that we have just before felt on our bodies ...the dust, the humidity and the forcefull heat...
