ΠΑΡΑΔΕΙΣΟΣ / HELLINIKA Στο χριστιανικό ορθόδοξο θρησκευτικό δόγμα, όπως εκφράζεται στα κείμενα και δηλώνεται
στις καθημερινές πράξεις και συμπεριφορές, αλλά και στο σύνολο των κειμενικών υπόβαθρων και των τελετουργιών του λόγου και της άσκησης των θρησκειών στον πλανήτη, ο παράδεισος βρίσκεται πέρα από το όριο της ζωής. Αποτελεί μια ανταμοιβή, μια υπόσχεση που όταν πραγματοποιηθεί διασχίζει τα βάθη του χρόνου, συγκροτεί το απειλητικό πλήρες, την οριστική και βέβαιη απειλή. Ο χρόνος και ο τόπος του παραδείσου είναι ανέγγιχτοι, άφαντοι, έξω από τις αισθητηριακές δυνατότητες του ανθρώπου. Παράδεισος είναι ο κήπος. Η έννοια του παραδείσου-χώρου γεννήθηκε στην μέση ανατολή, στην εγγύς ανατολή, στο νότο. Στο κέντρο της Σαουδαραβικής χερσονήσου, στις ερήμους της υποσαχάριας Αφρικής, κοντά στη Μεσόγειο θάλασσα. Πάνω σε αυτή την έννοια ενσωματώθηκε ο χρόνος και η απειλή. Ενσωματώθηκε ένα σύστημα ελέγχου της συμπεριφοράς, χειρισμών επάνω στο πρόσωπο του δυτικού ανθρώπου.
Ο χώρος του παραδείσου- ο κήπος- ορίζει τον τελευταίο θύλακα αντίστασης στην επικράτεια της άμμου της ερήμου, την περιοχή της εξάλειψης του σπαρμένου και του σκιερού από το βραχώδες, το άνυδρο*, το χέρσο*. Ορίζει ένα άγριο σύστημα υποταγής, απειλών, κατεύθυνσης της συμπεριφοράς. Ο χρόνος του παραδείσου φέρει και επιβάλει την ιδέα του θανάτου. Αντίθετα, ο παράδεισος είναι η ζωή στον κήπο στη διάρκεια ενός ηλιόλουστου, λαμπρου μεσημεριού που γεμίζει από την χαρά μιας συνεύρεσης, τα σχόλια για το είδος και τους νόμους ενός παιχνιδιού, την επιθυμία που μεταφέρει ένα άδειο κόκκινο λουλουδάτο κάθισμα για όσους πρόκειται να έρθουν και να πληρώσουν τα καθημερινά αινίγματα και τα ερωτηματικά με τον στοχασμό, την παραμονή τους έως την έλευση του δειλινού. η διάρκεια μιάς ώρας στις ορεινές φυτείες στην Μπάνγκαλόρ*. Το βλέμμα που εκτοξεύεται, αναδύεται μέσα από τις βαθιές σκιές προς το λαμπρό γαλάζιο του ουρανού.

PARADISE / ENGLISH For the christian orthodox doctrine, as it is conceptualy active through the texts and the everyday acts and behaviors as much as for the entity of all contextual bedrocks and rituals of linguistic practice and act of all religions on the planet, paradise stands beyond the limit of physical life. It is the reward, the promise that once it will be fulfilled, life can penetrate the far limits of time. The concept of paradise forms a hostile entity, the final and sure threat. Time and space, the core-properties of that entity, are out of touch, out of sight, beyond the sensory capability of man.
Paradise is the garden. The concept of paradise-as space-was created in the middle East, in the near East, the South.
In the center of Saudi Arab peninsula, in the sub-Saharan deserts, near the Mediterannean sea. Over this core-concept the idea of time and the techniques of threat was embodied. A system of rituals and believes of behavior control, of manipulations over the existence of western man. The space of paradise-the garden-is the last pocket of resistance against the territory of sand, the dessert. The territory where the planted and the shadowy have been extinct by the rocky, the anhydrous*, the cherso*. Paradise determine a fierce ritual of allegiance, threatening, orientation of the manner. The time of paradise stands and impose the idea of death.
On the contrary, paradise is the living in a garden during a sunny, brilliant noon filled with the happiness of a meeting, the comments for the discipline and the rules of a game, the desire that is carried by an empty red seat covered by a pillow printed with flowers for those who are about to come. For those who will meditate and propose an answer for the daily riddles and questions. For those who will stay until the coming of dusk. Paradise is the length of an hour inside the mountainous plantations near Bangalore*. The look that blasts off, emerge from the deep shadows towards the glorious blue of the sky.
